The best argument supporting America’s mandatory absorption of sludge from the bottom of foreign nations is that “We are a melting pot”.
Democrats throw that term out as if it were a legitimate American policy or part of the Constitution. It’s a fucking metaphor!
The integration of various European ethnicities assimilating into the American ethos has been referred to as a melting pot, supposedly since the Revolutionary period.
However, it was just one of several metaphors describing the unique fabrication of a burgeoning empire. The actual term “melting pot” seemed to be universally excepted in 1908, when a play titled Melting Pot was produced.
(below) I believe that this is the original 1908 soundtrack
Race baiting receptacle Maxine Waters could be using the term “salad bowl” when arguing the case for open borders, had that early metaphor gotten the proper traction.
Godzilla incarnate Queen Maxine
The reality in 2019 is the co-existence between whites and people of color in America; it’s not the predicament our Founders had envisioned.
Unfortunately, the left has efficiently exploited this unintended demographical conclusion. The democrat left has nefariously concocted the cultural cancer known as multiculturalism.
The original inception of Europeans from contrasting locations was almost progressive, although they were white, Irish people, for example, were considered another race by some.
They proudly volunteered to conform within a single culture as Americans.
Arriving citizens inherently possessed a strong national identity, but allegiance to their new country was expected to supersede any former loyalties.
Immigrants were eager to assimilate and learn the language, becoming “American” was deeply associated with a sense of pride and achievement.
As brown people become more prevalent throughout the country, especially in formerly solid white territories, chaos and dissension typically surface. When I refer to “brown people” in this article, I am not really referring to American blacks, but below the border people.
The simple truth is that most brown folks can’t seem to conceptualize the true depth of the West or even America’s unique representation of the West. Frankly, on the surface they come off joyfully ignorant and even abhorrent, I do recognize that there have been quite a few successful anomalies.
It’s quite discouraging when I hear voices on the right accept this fallacious misnomer as a general arbitrary fact within a greater conversation. The description itself should be challenged one hundred percent of the time in any discussion; it sets a false precedent and needs to be addressed
It is certain that giving the term “melting pot” credibility has swung open the door for multiculturalism.
The M-word should not be applied lightly, today it shares the same innocuous value as words like car, boat, happy, and greetings. It should be found among words like murder, insane, disastrous, and genocide.
In closing, America has never been constituted to serve as a melting pot. America is also the land of the free and home of the brave, does this dictate that only brave people should reside in our Country? Or the prerequisite to being free must be to own land?
The Democrat’s venomize main-stream media, pop culture, higher learning, hell lower learning and most other means of communication, mortally infecting public opinion.
I found these quotes interesting:
“Among the number of applications…, cannot we find an American capable and worthy of the trust? …Why should we take the bread out of the mouths of our own children and give it to strangers?”Founding Father John Adams
“The importation of foreigners into a country that has as many inhabitants as the present employments and provisions for subsistence will bear, will be in the end no increase of people, unless the new comers have more industry and frugality than the natives, and then they will provide more subsistence, and increase in the country; but they will gradually eat the natives out. Nor is it necessary to bring in foreigners to fill up any occasional vacancy in a country for such vacancy will soon be filled by natural generation.”Founding Father Ben Franklin
“The opinion advanced [by Jefferson,] is undoubtedly correct, that foreigners will generally be apt to bring with them attachments to the persons they have left behind; to the country of their nativity, and to its particular customs and manners. They will also entertain opinions on government congenial with those under which they have lived; or, if they should be led hither from a preference to ours, how extremely unlikely is it that they will bring with them that temperate love of liberty, [italics in original] so essential to real republicanism? There may, as to particular individuals, and at particular times, be occasional exceptions to these remarks, yet such is the general rule. The influx of foreigners must, therefore, tend to produce a heterogeneous compound; to complicate and confound public opinion; to introduce foreign propensities. In the composition of society, the harmony of the ingredients is all-important, and whatever tends to a discordant intermixture must have an injurious tendency.”Founding Father Alexander Hamilton
“Yet from such [absolute monarchies], we are to expect the greatest number of emigrants. They will bring with them the principles of the governments they leave, imbibed in their early youth; or if able to throw them off, it will be in exchange for an unbounded licentiousness, passing as is usual, from one extreme to another. It would be a miracle were they to stop precisely at the point of temperate liberty. Their principles with their language, they will transmit to their children. In proportion to their numbers, they will share with us in the legislation. They will infuse into it their spirit, warp and bias its direction, and render it a heterogeneous, incoherent, distracted mass.”Founding Father Thomas Jefferson
To me, the idea of immigration, in the sense of the word, is not always a bad transaction, it has some very prudent values. It’s just a shame that it has been saddled erroneously by nefarious words like a melting pot, multiculturalism, and nation of immigrants.
